Ingredients

FOR THE TUNA FILLETS:
- 2 fresh tuna fillets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Fresh parsley or cilantro for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
Rinse and pat dry the tuna fillets.
Season the fillets with salt and pepper.
In a large oven-safe pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Place the tuna fillets in the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until browned.
Transfer the pan to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the tuna reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
Serve the baked tuna with lemon wedges and garnish with parsley or cilantro, if desired. Enjoy!
