What is Minced Black Truffle?

We mince & preserve our fresh truffles at the peak of the season, when they are at their most flavorful. Black Summer Truffles (Tuber aestivum) are usually only available from June to August. However, our preservation process extends the life of the truffle by as much as 18 months, allowing you to enjoy the incredible taste of truffle at any time of year.

What does it taste like?

Our minced truffles are firm to the bite, followed by a rich & earthy truffle flavor.

How should I use it?

Use our minced truffles straight from the jar to add depth to any dish. We recommend blending into risotto, stirring into gravy or garnishing meat.

How it’s packed & shipped
Every order is cut to order and sealed in AquaSeal®, a breathable vacuum film that keeps fish fresher longer. Orders are packed on ice in insulated packaging and shipped Monday to Friday. Free shipping on orders over $299. Local delivery is free in Brooklyn, most of Queens, and parts of NY, NJ and Upstate.
Kosher certification
Most of our fresh fish is processed under our Legend of Jona brand, held to the strict supervision of CRC Kosher. Every fish is inspected fish-by-fish by trained mashgichim for the fins and scales that make it kosher. Each product’s specific hechsher is printed on its label.
Storage & freshness
Keep refrigerated and enjoy within about a week, thanks to the breathable AquaSeal® film. You can freeze at home for up to 6 months. Our fresh fish is never previously frozen.
